On June 30th, 2019, the UFC on ESPN 3 mixed martial arts tournament took place. The main event was between top fighters. Francis Ngannou is from France and Junior Dos Santos is from Brazil. They fought each other in the cage for a long time before they decided on who won and who lost.

Junior dos Santos Almeida is a Brazilian mixed martial artist. He was the UFC heavyweight champion and he had many records. He was a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he was one of the best fighters in the heavyweight division. Junior represented American Top Team.
Dos Santos was one of the best heavyweights of his time. He won nine straight matches and had a title defense. He has beaten fighters like Fabricio Werdum, Gabriel Gonzaga, and Kane Velasquez. Those fights earned him Performance of the Night bonuses. His fight versus Mark Hunt, Stipe Miocic, and Derrick Lewis got Fight of the Night awards.
Francis Ngannou is a mixed martial arts fighter from Cameroon. He currently competes in the UFC heavyweight division and is ranked number one there. Francis has twice challenged for the UFC title, but did not win. Francis trains in his own gym and at MMA Factory Paris and Xtreme Couture gyms.
In the end of 2016, Anthony Hamilton had a fight. Ngannou earned his first UFC bonus and his total fee for one night was $82,000. That is not bad considering how much he could have earned if he stayed in Cameroon.
The fee will be used for different things. I started with nothing, but when you start earning money, you want to buy everything. I have a different goal, though. First I want to help my family and then do charity work in Cameroon. This will make it possible for children who are like me to realize their dreams. If I achieve my goal, then people in Cameroon who have dreams but can’t afford them will also be helped.”
A year after, Ngannu was the new champion. He beat Andrei Orlovski and Alistair Overeem. The knockout of the fight against Overim was voted knockout of the year.
It’s hard to tell about the person called Ngannou. He has lost twice in the UFC and he hasn’t defended his belt yet, but he has some impressive numbers that make him look legendary. There are two ways to understand his numbers: current and historical.
